How to Stop Unwanted Callers and Blacklist

There are many reasons a business wishes to add a phone number to a blacklist. Whatever the reason is, you have the option to block calls from any number added.

Step One

In order to add a number to your blacklist, you have to log into the Atlas Portal by navigating to https://my.voipmd.com, click on VOIP then click on Blacklist on the left-hand column.


Step Two

You will be presented with your current list of blacklisted numbers and an option to block "Anonymous Callers".
Note: Enabling "Block Anonymous Callers" may stop legitimate calls from being delivered. Not everyone knows what their caller ID is and sometimes providers mask the callers number automatically either due to an option enabled on their plan or unknowingly due to an issue with their service.
In the box presented to you, enter the 10-digit number you wish to block. Use a new line to add additional numbers and then click save. The callers will simply be disconnected upon attempting to call your number. 
Note: This is an account wide blacklist. If adding a number to this blacklist, they will not be able to reach any number on your account.

Click Save
